Puppy Application

Before You Apply

Thank you for your interest in a Fianna Collies puppy! Choosing the right home for each puppy is one of the most important parts of our breeding program. We carefully consider each applicant and strive to make thoughtful matches based on the individual puppy and the needs, lifestyle, and goals of each family.

Completing an application does not guarantee the availability or placement of a puppy. It simply allows us to begin getting to know you and determine whether a Fianna Collies puppy may be a good fit for your home.

What Happens Next?

1. Submit an Application
Tell us about yourself, your household, your previous dog experience, and what you are looking for in a Collie.

2. Application Review
We carefully review each application to determine whether a Fianna Collies puppy may be a good fit for your home and lifestyle.

3. Get to Know Each Other
Approved applicants may be invited to continue the conversation through additional communication and a video call or home tour.

4. Join the Waitlist
Qualified applicants may have the opportunity to join our waitlist for a planned or upcoming litter.

5. Thoughtful Puppy Matching
We do not place puppies on a first-come, first-served basis. As each puppy develops, we carefully evaluate temperament, structure, energy level, and individual needs to make the best possible match for each home.

6. Go Home & Lifelong Support
Our relationship does not end when your puppy leaves. We are committed to supporting our Fianna families throughout the life of their dog.

Please Consider Before Applying

A Collie is a long-term commitment, and we encourage prospective owners to carefully consider whether the breed is the right fit before applying. Our puppies are placed with families who are prepared to provide lifelong veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, training, companionship, and continued mental and physical enrichment.

We encourage you to explore the CCA’s Is the Collie Right for You?, and our Puppy Raising, and Pricing Structure pages before submitting an application.

A Note About Service Dogs

Fianna Collies does not place puppies as service dog prospects or guarantee puppies for service work. Our breeding program and puppy-placement process are not designed to select or prepare dogs for this purpose.
